Privacy policy

In short

• This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools.
• Fonts and images are served from our own server: reading our pages never makes your browser contact a third party.
• Only the contact form uses an external service, Cloudflare Turnstile, to keep bots out.
• We use the data you send us solely to answer your request.

Contact form and emails

Data processed: name, email address, message and, if you provide them, phone number and your dog’s name, breed and size. The language of the page is sent along so that we can reply in your language.

Purpose: answering your request (information, appointment, quote).

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Retention: your message stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to handle your request and follow up with you, and is deleted no later than [3 years] after our last exchange.

The form is optional: you can also call us or email us directly. The same rules then apply.

Protection against abuse

Cloudflare Turnstile. To tell people from bots, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). The script only loads once you scroll down to the form or start filling it in. Cloudflare then receives, among other things, your IP address and technical information about your browser and device. According to Cloudflare, this data is used only to provide the protection service and not for advertising.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the form against spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Limit on the number of messages. To prevent mass submissions, our server stores the time of each message together with a one-way fingerprint (hash) of your IP address – never the address itself. This data is only used for 10 minutes and is then deleted automatically during a regular clean-up.

Hosting and email delivery

This website and our mailbox are hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, on servers in the European Union. OVH processes this data on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).

Server logs

Like every web server, our host’s server automatically records each request in technical log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, status code, browser and operating system, and the referring page. These logs keep the website secure and running smoothly (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are not analysed for statistics. They are kept for [retention period to be confirmed with OVH] and then deleted.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses no cookies. So that you don’t have to make certain choices again, it stores at most two pieces of information in your browser’s local storage (localStorage):

• the language you chose;
• the announcements you closed.

This information stays on your device, is never sent to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. As it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for, no consent is required.

Links to other websites

Our pages contain links to Google Maps, Google (reviews), Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. No data is sent to these services unless you click a link; the map on our website is a plain image. When you follow a link, you leave our website and the privacy policy of that service applies.

Recipients

We never sell or pass on your data. Only Dog Style has access to it, plus OVH and Cloudflare for the technical purposes described above.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, or to restrict its processing. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest and ask to receive the data you gave us in a common format (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Just write to us at info@dogstyle.lu. We will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you believe your data is not being processed lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France – cnil.fr (opens in a new tab). Changes

We may update this privacy policy, for example when the website changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
